What Have We Been Doing This Week?

• We read I Am this week and got to have our own copies. Please have your child read to you at home and notice the sight words.
• Sight words so far (lightning words); I, am, the, a, red, blue, yellow
• We are working on AB patterns this week! (red, blue, red, blue, red, blue, etc.)
• We are working on practicing the writing and reading of #s 1-10.
• We made some shapely scarecrows this week for the first day of Fall!
• Mrs. Browning came to our room this week to talk about the "I Care" rules- ask your child about these.
• During Power Half Hour, we have been focusing on letters and sounds (all).
• We learned the letter Tt this week. (Ii is next week)
